 Blood Wedding
  by Federico Garcia Lorca

Written in 1932 by the legendary playwright Federico  Garcia Lorca, "Blood Wedding" is inspired by a true story of a fatal feud between two families in Almeria province in rural Spain. A love triangle that shows the enjoyment and horror of the extremes of passion - their tragedy is the tragedy of love missed - Leonardo has married another and the bride is betrothed and about to be married herself. Lorca blends drama and poetry with death hovering over the whole play.
